London-based designer Alan Crocetti has sought to redefine the role of jewellery in contemporary fashion. Overturning expectations of both gender and jewellery design, he combines traditional techniques and fine materials with contemporary and eclectic forms to create progressive pieces for men.
Born in Brazil, Crocetti studied in Italy and the UK before founding his eponymous label, after discovering a love for the materials and processes involved in jewellery design in his final year of a womenswear degree at Central St Martins.
Crocetti quickly became known for his energetic style. He was invited to show at the influential Fashion East showcase during London Fashion Week within a year of graduating and has collaborated widely with some of the fashion industry’s most experimental and respected designers, creating complementary pieces for runway collections. His work has been published in magazines including Vogue, GQ, Numéro and Paper, and was featured in the 10th Vogue Talents exhibition in Milan in 2019, which recognised some of the best fashion creatives to have emerged over the past decade.
